 due to winter weather.

Seminars and live birds Sunday from 10-3 NOT cancelled, so please join us at the Jenks Freshman Academy for an INDOOR, warm and cozy event!!

We are again holding our January Eagle Days celebration along the river in south Tulsa over the weekend of Jan 12-13, 2013. We will begin with an Eagle Watch at Helmerich Park in south Tulsa followed by the seminars, workshops, vendors, food and a LIVE Bald Eagle and other live raptors at the Jenks Freshman Academy! We're partnering with the Jenks High School Ornithology Club to again present this exciting program! For more information contact Todd Humphrey, 918-810-4492.
 

Eagle Watch

8:30-10:00am, Helmerich Park on Riverside Drive (Between 71st and 81st streets)

Our members will be there to help you spot the Eagles, and will also have spotting scopes so you can get a close-up look at the birds. There has been a nesting pair of Eagles in this area in the last few years, so we hope they will return this year!

Eagle Seminars

10:00am – 3:00pm, Jenks High School Freshmen Academy located on central campus in Jenks

Seminars begin on the hour at 11:00am, 12:15pm, and 1:15pm with a 15 minute break between each session. From 11:45-12:00 will be a Live Bald Eagle Presentation. The Sutton Avian Research Center in Bartleville is bringing Bensar, 20 year old nonreleasable Bald Eagle for a unique opportunity to se our national symbol up close and personal!
